Starting with the Banker, each player in turn throws the dice. The Bank "never goes broke." If the Bank runs out of money, the Banker may issue as much as needed by writing on any ordinary paper. The Bank collects a ll taxes, fines, loans and interest, and the price of all properties which it sells and auctions. It sells and auctions properties and hands out the proper Title Deed cards when purchased by a player, it also sells houses and hotels to the players and loans money when required on mortgages. When more than five persons play, the Banker may elect to act only as Banker and Auctioneer.īesides the Bank's money, the Bank holds the Title Deeds, and the houses and hotels prior to purchase by the players. A Banker who plays in the game must keep their personal funds separate from those of the Bank. Select as Banker a player who will also make a good Auctioneer. Each player is given $15 00 divided as follows:Ģ $500's, 2 $100's, 2 $50's, 6 $20's, 5 $10's, 5 $5's, and 5 $1's.Īll remaining money and other equipment go to the Bank. Each player chooses one token to represent them while traveling around the board. Place the board on a table and put the Chance and Community Chest cards face down on their allotted spaces on the board. There are 16 Chance and 16 Community Chest cards, 28 Title Deed cards (one for each property), and play money. The equipment consists of a board, 2 dice, tokens, 32 houses and 12 Hotels. In this game, it is hard to predict who will win this as there is always a twist in the game. Now I am able to swap a low value brand to the most valuable brand! The chance and empire cards are also different. They are no longer a boring instruction by asking you to pass to the next street. Now you have special cards which demands other players pay you money if you run out of cash or you can said NO to other one who challenging you. What a great idea! Each brand will have a billboard tile instead of the property card to collect. The dices are slightly different as one of the dice has a picture of shaking hands – called the sneaky swap where you are able to switch the topmost billboard in one tower in any other towers including your own. In this new game board, there are only 9 slots instead of the usual 10. This is a quick and easy game compared to other monopoly games. 6 Tokens: Coca Cola, X-box, Chevrolet, Ducati, McDonald’s and Paramount.We have a junior monopoly already and since both of my children aged 4 and 5 already enjoy that version, they enjoyed playing this version too. If you recall in an earlier post, I had mentioned Monopoly Empire as one of Argos Top Christmas Toys for 2013.
